This 8 hour (in-class) Senior First Aid course is nationally recognised and relevant for various occupations and people wishing to obtain a qualification for personal reasons.

Prior to sitting the in-class session, participants are required to complete a hard-copy, multiple-choice workbook at home, which is the equivalent of the first day of their course (as Senior First Aid is a 2 x day qualification).

Workbooks can be obtained from our office or posted out to participants upon booking and payment of the course fee.

Certificates are issued on the day upon successful completion of this course.

Participants working in the construction industry can apply for a $91 refund of their course fee directly from the Building and Construction Industry Training Fund (BCITF) upon completion of this course.  We can provide you with the application form on the day of your course.

Duration: 8 hours in-class (plus pre-course workbook)
   
Location: 3 Aberdeen Street, Northbridge, WA  map
   
Assessment: Multiple choice theory assessment and various practical assessments (e.g. CPR and bandaging).
   
Qualification: Participants receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment (certificate) Apply First Aid (HLTFA301C) from the Health Training Package (HLT07)
   
Validity: Senior First Aid is valid for 3 years, but it is recommended that the CPR component is refreshed every 12 months
   
Pre-requisites: Fully complete the pre-course workbook prior to attending your day of training.
   
What to Bring:

1 x form of photo ID or 2 x forms of secondary ID (e.g. Medicare, ATM, or Health Care card), a pen and your  completed workbook.

Please ensure that you wear enclosed shoes (i.e. no sandals or thongs) and wear either shorts or long pants (bearing in mind that you will need to kneel on the floor to perform CPR).
